What is Lymphatic Drainage Face Massage?

Lymphatic massage is a light touch massage treatment draining built-up fluids within the face, enhancing circulation in your face by delivering oxygen around the skin, and pushing waste and toxins out of the lymph nodes. It improves the appearance of skin through better circulation and reduces eye puffiness. It also has been studied for its effects to tighten the skin creating firmness and, of course, is very relaxing. It has anti-aging capabilities, since the lymphatic system tends to become less active as we age.

Facial rejuvenation through lymph drainage can benefit a wide variety of conditions such as sinus congestion, chronic sinus infections, chronic ear infections, headaches and general swelling of the face.

While lymph massage is generally safe, there are health conditions that may require a consultation with your healthcare provider prior to receiving a lymphatic drainage massage of any kind. This might include congestive heart failure, history of blood clots, kidney infections, and circulation problems.
