Your Breath Can Change Your Life

Take a moment to breathe today. Not the habitual breathing pattern you're used to but take a moment to really, intentionally breathe. Sit up nice and tall and become the observer of your breath. Breathe deep and breathe long. Inhale, completely filling yourself with air, starting in the pelvic floor, up through the stomach and into your lungs, then fill the chest. Hold for a second, now exhale. Exhale first the air in your chest, then your lungs, then your stomach and into your lungs, then fill the chest. Hold for a second, now exhale. Exhale first the air in your chest, then your lungs, then your stomach and finally your pelvic floor. Now repeat this 4 more times.


Notice anything? Notice how you have less tension in your stomach, allowing for better digestion. Notice better breathing capacity in your lungs. Notice increased clarity. Notice the shift in your energy. This shift is always available to you. Anytime, anywhere. It doesn't cost you anything, you don't need any special tools. You just need your breath. Your breath can change your life.
