What is the best way to talk to my kids about the Coronavirus Pandemic?

Updated: Dec 2, 2020

Many of our children are feeling scared or anxious about the Coronavirus. If your kids are having a hard time right now, help them regain a sense of control by asking them what questions or fears they have. Then answer as honestly as possible with information appropriate for their age and developmental level. Validate their concerns and remind them that as their parent, you will always prioritize keeping them safe and healthy. By allowing them to voice their concerns, access information, and reassure their safety, we allow our children to feel heard and supported in this chaotic time.

Stay healthy and well,
