WHAT IS AntiGravity SUSPENSION FITNESS?
AntiGravity (AG) is a fitness method that allows you to defy gravity while playing on a suspended hammock. Christopher Harrison, the founder of AG, is a retired gymnast, avid yogi, Broadway dancer and the list of his amazing accomplishments continues. His aerial acrobatic troup, AntiGravity, Inc, was founded in 1991 and has performed all over the world. In 1999, he developed the AntiGravity Hammock. Then in 2007, Mr. Harrison decided to introduce his unique method to the public because of the many physical and mental benefits that stem from from the beautiful, mindful movements while being one with the hammock. Transform into a superhero in the Spiderman Inversion; channel your inner primate through Skirted Monkey; and, relax in Cocooning—-think of being a child again!
Don’t let the playfulness fool you—-this is a challenging workout for all fitness levels that flows through movements, allowing you to improve flexibility, mobility, balance, and releasing muscles while building strength. Not all movements are inversions, but you will definitely have enough “hang time” in between other exercises.
